The Department System is a system in which the Umbrella Corporation Group is split into different departments led by a member in the Board of Directors.
The Department System was established to ensure that each member of upper administration has a job and responsibility to ensure a contentious level of activity within the group.
Monthly meetings are held with the Board of Directors in which directors speak about the activity and the progress in each department.
To become the rank Junior Staff in the Umbrella Corporation group, members are required to join a department and are required to stay in a department, while they are upper administration. Members are allowed to be in two departments.
Note: Departments are designed for upper administration. Departments aren't designed for members in the lower ranks. The Department System is also different from divisions. Divisions are personal groups that are approved by the Chairman.

The Department of Diplomacy is in charge of maintaining and establishing new foreign relationships.

Department of Science Development
The Department of Science Development is in charge of innovation and creating new technology for the Umbrella Corporation Group. The department consist of talented artists, builders, and scripters.

Department of Human Resources
The Department of Human Resources is in charge of maintaining the promotion system and the ranks of each individual within the group. The Department of Human Resources are also in charge of the community within the group and maintaining a positive group image.

Department of Security Service
The Department of Security Service is in charge of hosting patrols, raids, and trainings. The Department of Security Service also ensures that all bases are always filled with Umbrella Corporation members.
